Handan Grand Theater

Handan Grand Theater is located at the intersection of Renmin Road and Fudong Street, Congtai District, Handan City (Address: No. 399, East Section of Renmin Road, Handan City). It is one of the landmark construction projects with the largest investment, the most complete facilities, and the highest technological content in Hebei Province. It is also the only professional high-end theater in Hebei Province. The overall building was designed by the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and Research, which once designed the Great Hall of the People and the National Grand Theater. The designer cleverly integrated the long history and culture of ancient Zhao with the urban style of modern Handan, which is majestic. Its unique shape combines Chinese bronze culture, Handan Cizhou kiln culture, and Heshibi culture. It is like a piece of flawless beautiful jade floating on the city platform, and is affectionately called "the beautiful jade on the city platform" by the people of Handan City.
